The audio recording is extracted from the Lanoh cassette (this is the final text on side A of the tape) and the transcription is from p122-128 of the 1979 Lanoh notebook LNHGBIA790106_001. The place of recording, Tawai, is a village off the main road leading to Grik, just outside of Grik. This is where the black and white Semnam photos were taken. This recording was made during Benjamin's first deliberate trip to work with Lanoh and Semnam speakers in Lanoh and Semnam country.
