Lexicon recorded for LexiRumah (https://lexirumah.model-ling.eu/lexirumah/languages/gese1240). Initial recordings with Fajaria Yarkuran, doublecheck with Kasir Kilian. All recordings made in Mas village, Karas Islands, Indonesia, where FY resides and KK was a visitor., Data recorded during Kalamang grammar project as time and speakers of Geser-Gorom were available.

Description

Geser-Gorom (ISO639-3:ges) is spoken in eastern Seram and on the islands off the eastern Seram coast, Seram Bagian Timur regency, Maluku province, Indonesia (-3.717798, 130.767276).

All recordings were made in Mas village, Karas islands, Fakfak regency, West Papua province, Indonesia, which has several Geser-Gorom speakers and at the time of recording also a visitor from Gorom. Recorded in 2019, when the researcher was working on the native language of the village, Kalamang.
