Description

Story of the Ghost Owl A man leaves his pregnant wife alone at at home and stays out fishing after nightfall. While he is fishing he hears the call of the Ghost Owl. He scolds the bird, breaking a taboo against acknowledging its call. When he returns home, he discovers his wife and the unborn child are dead, and the Owl has transformed into her physical being. He tries to trick the Owl and flee, but realising this, it pursues him.
