Description
This project started out as a feasability project, where we asked ourselves if we could construct something that would let us analyze the reading of blind people to the same high degree as eye-tracking has let us understand the reading process of seeing people. With the construction of the automated finger-tracker - we found a way. This project has then evolved to using this finger-tracker as well as IR motion tracking to measure braille reading and drawing conclusions about the reading process of blind people., Shows a screenshot from inside the analysis program for the automated finger-tracker., An image showing the differences and similarities between seeing an image and feeling an image., This project started out as a feasability project, where we asked ourselves if we could construct something that would let us analyze the reading of blind people to the same high degree as eye-tracking has let us understand the reading process of seeing people.
